Charles Edward Anderson Berry, or commonly known by his stage name Chuck Berry, passed away 3/18/17 in St. Charles, MO. So, we will be honouring him in this article about him. Berry helped to inspire many later famous rock and roll stars such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, and The Beach Boys, with new defined riffs that inspired rock and roll, also helping to emphasize story telling on songwriting, and also influenced the way the stars act on the stage. In the final years of his life he toured around the world, playing some of his classic hits. Before that, earlier in his life, he moved to the windy city from his home in Missouri, to further his music career. He went on the write such hits as "Johnny B. Goode" (1958), "Rock and Roll Music" (1957), and many more hits. Overall, if it weren't for Chuck Berry, rock and roll would be different today from how it is now.
