It appears right now in baseball, that the Los Angeles Dodgers are the best, the Cleveland Indians coming in a close second, and the surprisingly the Houston Astros coming in a close third. Lets take a closer look at the statistics of the game.
Los Angeles Dodgers - Wins, 104, to Loses, 58. Previously in the past winning six World Series, and 21 National League pennants. By some even referred to as 'one of the greatest teams of all time'.
Cleveland Indians - Wins, 102, to Loses, 60. Previously in the past winning two World Series, and 6 American League pennants. Had a promising start, last World Series against the Chicago Cubs.
Houston Astros - Wins, 101, to Loses, 61. Previously winning zero World Series, and 1 National League pennant. Though they aren't as good as the other mentioned teams, statistically they're doing great, and probably even have a serious chance in the finals.
But, what about the Chicago Cubs, how could you forget the Cubs!? Hold your horses, I'm getting there. Though they have been promising, with 3 World Series titles, and 17 National League pennants; With a Win to Lose ratio of 92 to 70. This year they have only 22 more wins than loses, the other teams mentioned have at least 40 more wins than loses, they have a chance, but more slim; Fans of the Cubs are counting on these next few Finals games to see if they make it, in the World Series.
So those are the facts so far (keep in mind the win to lose ratio might change), with the Los Angeles Dodgers doing the best, the Cleveland Indians coming in a close second, and the Houston Astros coming in a close third. We'll see soon who the top two teams are, on October 24th, the first day of the World Series.
